William Humphrey, founder
Graduated from University of Nevada with BA in Journalism. Worked in Hollywood for a time but his first love was always sailing. Moved to the Caribbean the first chance he had. In the early days of Blue Water Maritime Bill represented very small Caribbean trading vessels, one of which was even a true "goleta", a sailing schooner. Bill was also the first agent to work with Customs using new edifact database descriptors and the very early days of filing a manifest electronically. Blue Water Maritime presently has very advanced software which generates the XML for Coast Guard eNOA, electronic manifests for British Virgin Islands entry (as well as other ports) and this software also satisfies the latest requirements for advanced electronic entry of manifests and load plans.
